Care:
It is fine to wash the bone china in the dishwasher but please ensure you stick to these guidelines. Make sure that the china does not touch any other item that may cause scratching or damage by vibration. Do not overload the dishwasher. Use the most delicate cycle available on your dishwasher. Ensure the maximum temperature is 60ºC (140ºF) or below. Use mild and gentle detergents not powders and tablets. Make sure there is a rinse cycle to wash away any detergent film.
Please be aware that over time the glaze and ceramic colours on bone china will deteriorate with lots of dishwasher useage.
The White Bone China ranges have no printed colours and so will not be affected other than a possible slight dulling of the glaze over time.
The same as your favourite T-Shirt may fade if you keep putting it through the washing machine. So, to keep your bone china in tip-top shape for years to come then gentle hand washing is the safest way to clean it.
