About the Author
Jenny Alexander’s first book was published in 1993 and since then she has written scores of fiction and non-fiction books for readers of all ages. Her children’s fiction includes Blue Peter Book Club choice, How to Get What You Want, by Peony Pinker and Red House Children's Book Awards Highly Commended, Car-Mad Jack. Her children’s non-fiction includes twelve funny self-help books on topics such as self-esteem, happiness and kindness.
Jenny has written five books for adults on the art and craft of writing and articles for all the major writing publications, including her monthly column in Writing Magazine, now in its tenth year. Her writing books have been the sign-up offer for new subscribers to Writing Magazine and featured in several of their seasonal promotions. She also publishes monthly articles on her Substack, ‘This free-range writing life.’
Jenny has run creative workshops for literary festivals and organisations including The Society of Authors, Lapidus (Words for Wellbeing), The Scattered Authors’ Society, Writing Magazine, the Arvon Foundation, the Writing Retreat, Mantle Arts and Bridging Arts, as well as small local writers’ groups and her own independent programme.

Cancellations
Should you need to cancel your booking for any reason, your money will be refunded IN FULL up to two weeks before the workshop/course start date. Unfortunately, no refunds can be given after that time.
Non-attendance
If you do not attend a workshop/course, the full fee remains payable.
For Zoom workshops, only participants with video enabled will be admitted. If you cannot join with video, this will count as non-attendance and no refund will be given.
Will the Nor store be open when the workshop is on?
The Nor store will always be open when our workshops are taking place.
Is there age restrictions for the workshops?
Unfortunately we are currently only able to offer workshops to people over the age of 16.

Liability Waiver
Nor Store London is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft that may happen to personal property brought onto the premises. This also includes any physical injuries sustained as a result of participating in any workshop or event organised by Nor.
By purchasing a ticket to our workshops you agree to take on full responsibility for any damages of personal property or physical injuries that may be incurred whilst participating in workshops or events organised by Nor Store London.
Digital Publishing, Photography and Videos
By purchasing a ticket to a Nor Store London workshop or event, you agree to allow Nor to unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at a Nor Store London workshop or event on our premises.
Cancellations
Nor Store London has the right to cancel any workshop or event. Most of our workshops require a minimum of 5 people participating, in the event that the workshop or event is cancelled for any reason will notify you by email and issue you a full refund.
